Neighborhood Services Inc. Food Pantry responds to the ill effects of poverty in Central Ohio by providing food and material assistance to neighbors in need. We are dedicated to improving the quality of life in our community by serving with kindness and centering equity.

We distribute food boxes to our neighbors Monday – Friday from 10:00am – 1:00pm at 1950 N 4th Street, at the corner of 4th & 18th in the University District. Low-income Franklin County residents can receive a full shop of food twice a month and they’re able to come weekly for refills on our fresh produce. All they need to bring with them is an ID, and for their first visit, a piece of mail that verifies their address.

We’re also engaged in a number of Special Programs including Tax Help through April, a Thanksgiving Distribution in November, a Christmas Toy Donation program in December, and a Back to School Drive in August. Given the overwhelming need for these services, our special programs are limited to 7 select zip codes in Franklin County: 43201, 43202, 43210, 43211, 43220, 43221, and 43224.

We are also part of a vast network of service providers throughout Franklin County; our goal is that if we cannot provide someone with a resource here on-site, we will be able to directly connect them with an organization who can. We believe food tastes better when no one at the table is hungry.
